Competency, Efficiency
Taj Housing believe that safety, competency and efficiency
are absolutely vital to an effective workforce. Above all we
recognise that it is people who make the difference, which
is why we are totally committed to training and developing
our staff to ensure they all possess the knowledge, skills
and experience to perform their roles to the highest
standards across an ever growing range of services. Our CITB
accredited training centre manages recognised industry
training courses for our staff, giving Taj Housing a large,
highly skilled and motivated workforce.
Taj Housing are continually committed to demonstrating their
competence and quality to customers and to this aim have
been forerunners in the HVCA's Service and Facilities
SKILLCard scheme with, to date, all Taj Housing employees on
site having received training and accreditation.
One of Taj Housing's company goals is to 'create a Taj
Housing community that is a great place to work'. This aim
is reflected in Taj Housing's corporate Investor in People
accreditation, and in addition Taj Housing's commitment to
training, communication and rewarding excellence in the

Training and development is key to our success and we ensure
all our employees are provided with regular training in
areas such as new technology, health and safety and customer
service.
We also ensure all our employees have the opportunity to
develop their careers with the business, as well as attracting
some of the brightest and best talent from outside. Our
