About Manufacturing

Romec was established in 1989, with a manufacturing facility developed to service the Royal Mail. Romec's manufacturing arm has a dedicated in-house design and development team. Romec not only design, develop and manufacture solutions for the Royal Mail, but also for a variety of customers including Bond Associates, IBM, Boots and other international postal administrations.

Romec operate from two production facilities, one based in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and another in Lancing , on the South Coast. Both facilities utilise the very latest equipment and machinery to ensure we design and produce quality, efficient and ergonomic products - from initial concept, through to design, production and on-site installation. Our in-house specialist design team, work closely with our sales and manufacturing colleagues to ensure that concept designs are developed through cross-functional working. In terms of product manufacture, whilst each facility has dedicated product lines, our specialist production teams work closely together, sharing areas of expertise and workloads to achieve optimum efficiency and ultimately customer satisfaction and expectation.

Romec's commitment to our customers does not finish when the product leaves the production facility. We can fully support our customers by offering a range of service packages, from ongoing maintenance to service exchange.
